Pride is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. On June 28, 1970, on the one year anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, the first Pride marches were held in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Thousands of LGBTQ+ people gathered to commemorate Stonewall and demonstrate for equal rights. The events of Stonewall and the liberation movements that followed were a direct result of prior decades of LGBTQ+ activism and organizing. We founded the first Pride event in Fairborn in 2021. When is Fairborn Pride?
Inclusive Fairborn celebrates Pride the third weekend of June annually. Friday community Pride will happen downtown from 5-9p. Saturday morning there will be a walk at community park, more details coming soon. Saturday evening there will be an 18+ drag show at the Fairborn Phoenix from 9:30p-12a. Sunday there will be a drag brunch at The Neighborhood Nest in downtown Fairborn from 10a-2p.
Why Do We Have Pride?
We celebrate Pride to support and honor the LGBTQ+ community. We create a safe space for gathering, learning, expression, and to navigate resources that benefit the LGBTQ+ community.

- Participate: Come to Pride, be a vendor, support LGBTQ+ organizations and businesses there, and share your experience with others
- Volunteer: Pride takes a lot of effort to make happen, volunteers can help set up, tear down, and make the event run smoothly
- Sponsor: Pride could not happen without our sponsors, not only does your sponsorship support Pride but the organization as well
